High Five For Friday! || Allergic to MAC

Happy Friday Beauties!!! I hope you all are having, or had, a amazing day! I am finally catching a Friday, it seems like forever since I have written a post. By the time I get done work on Fridays at 9pm I am limited for time to get the kids to bed then try to make a post before midnight and it has been quite the challenge!! But here I am now, starting it BEFORE work so I can not make up excuses. This week has been quite good, I must say. Lets get right into it!

{One} I don't want to repeat anything but I have to mention it this one last time {promise}. Yesterday I received another MAC package in the mail. This makes 4 this week. Call me crazy but instead of making one whole order I will make one single order, then a couple hours later make another. It just seems more forgiving spending $20 at a time rather than $60. Know what I mean? Probably not. I am probably just a little kray. Anyways, about yesterdays package. The newly launched {On Wednesday} PatentPolish Lip Pencil aka another 'Chunny Stick'. Now, you may feel like, "I own every chubby stick from every brand you can think of, I don't need to fork out $20 to buy a MAC one!". Sweetheart, yes you do! This is not like any lip pencil or chubby stick you own. You have my 150% guarantee on that. Have you seen the picture of the advertisement for them? Here it is

You, along with many others, are thinking this is photo shopped to grab attention. Nope. It is not. This is what these look like on your lips. They are absolutely stunning! I got the nude color 'Innocent' and if I wore different colors other than nude I would def be getting every single one of these.

{Two} I am back to being a coffee drinker! I give that to the new Tim Horton's we got in a couple weeks ago. Now, I know every ones fav is Starbucks but unfortunately I do not have one anywhere near me within 300 miles! All we have around here {upstate NY} is Dunkin Donuts and now Tim Horton's. Everyone drinks coffee, its like a trend. My parents, and whole entire family actually, drinks coffee regularly. As in, they cannot wake up without it nor can they get through the day without it. I have always loved the smell of coffee brewing at home and many times I tried it but could never fall into it. The taste was just nasty and it was a hot drink. I am not  a fan of hot drinks. I like feeling refreshed, not burning my lips. BUT, just as my mom always told me, your taste buds change as you grow old up. I love caramel so one time I went out and got a coffee with Carmel creamer and splenda. I was addicted. It tasted so good and made me feel great! I drank it like a pro for about 2 months straight. Then just stopped and went back to my cold refreshers! On a whim the other day I opted for a cup of coffee instead of Pepsi. Here I am again.... addicted. My addictive personality is sometimes a bad thing. Today I stopped at Tim's and got a Carmel Ice Capp. YUMMY!!

{Three} Too many blogs to follow. Ok, so reading blogs has recently become my favorite thing to do. I just discovered the blogging word within this past year. I absolutely love blogging and it is my favorite thing to do. I had found like 10 amazing blogs and enjoy reading about everything from beauty to lifestyle. Fashion has never been my thing. BUT, here is where I am in a black hole and unable to get out. From those 10 blogs, guess what? They have a section dedicated to their favorite bloggers. And those bloggers have links to their favorite bloggers. So now my bookmark bar is filled with hundreds of blogs. It is so hard keeping up with them everyday. Do you have any tips of sorting them out? Probably not. I am just probably too overboard and alone in this situation!?

{Four} Becoming a new version of me. If that makes sense. Everyday on my way to work, while music is blasting, my mind is always going 900 mph. I always have these bright ideas of things to change, things to do better, things to get done. I know everyone hits rock bottom sometime in their life {nothing serious has happened to me} and that is what it takes sometimes to figure out who you are and where you are going. There are some personal things {that I am not ready to talk about} going on in my life that need some serious readjusting before it goes in a path that I do not want it to. So recently I have been looking into different ways to better myself. I am up for any suggestions you wonderful peeps may have! :)

{Five} I did not want to include this. Especially after my number one above. I started writing this post this morning before work and knew I would be finishing it tonight. My opinion does not change about the MAC patentpolish at all. I still love it, but unfortunately I had to leave work today after only being there 3 hours {that's not really that unfortunate but the reason I left is} because I was having an allergic reaction to something on my lips. I was so scared and nervous but it has happened before, about  a year ago, so as soon as my lip got hot and started swelling I knew exactly what was wrong. I did not want to leave work in an ambulance so I had to sign a paper so they weren't responsible if I died on my way driving myself, is exactly what they told me. Anyways, I made it. It was the longest ride in my life. I take things too far. I know there is a word for that but I don't know what it is. The EMT at work told me if my head started feeling weird or if I found it difficult to breathe or swallow to pull over and call 911. So guess what, the whole ride there my mind was playing tricks on me and I seriously thought I was going to pass out. I didn't though.
I made it nice and safe to the ER. Because I was driving they gave me Benadryl in pill form because she said it wouldn't kick in as hard and I might be able to drive. We would see how I felt. Well, 45 minutes after taking the pill, I wasn't feeling any better and in fact my lips were even more swollen! She had to then give me the shot and I would have to call for a ride.
Everything is all good now, my lips are no longer swollen like this:
Don't mind how ratchet I look. This was at the hospital. I was a stressed, crying, HOT MESS!!

The crappy thing is that I do not know which product did this to me. Within the last week I have ordered and been using 3 different lip products from MAC. I bought the Pre + Prime for lips, Sheen Supreme lipstick and the PatentPolish. I am not chancing that situation again so I will be returning all of them and just stick with my regular lipsticks and face products!!

That is all I can think of for now. Time to go cuddle with the boyfriend and catch up in Bates Motel!! Do you watch that?? We DVR it and watch 2 episodes back to back.
Until next time beauties,

MAC Patent Polish || BRAND NEW RELEASE!!

Ok, so I posted yesterday about the excitement I had because with free overnight delivery I was getting my Patent Polish today. Oh yea, sorry, hello beauties!! ;) Sometimes I get a little sidetracked. Well, UPS delivered my packages {ordered the prep and prime lip moisturiser as well} about 3:30pm today. I think there are a total of 12 shades to choose from. I chose the nude {I do not go outside of the box when it comes to my lips, they are ALWAYS nude} which is called 'Innocent'. I opened the box and it does look like all the pictures online. I have come to some pros and cons for this product but first here is a picture of my lips with nothing on them at all
As you can see my lips are pretty pigmented, and I hate it. So, after applying the Polish my lips look like this
Can you see how glossy that is? It has an amazing shine!! I am completely in love! When looking at the picture of the big lips and the rainbow effect of colors they have on them, I was skeptical. Think, ok now, it can't be that shiny. They totally blew my mind though. If I was into reds and plums I would absolutely get every color but seeing how I am just a nude kinda gal, I chose this color and just put an order in for their pasty lilac color in 'PatentPink'.

I know that just about every company you can think of has a version of 'the chubby stick' {which I am pretty sure clinique was the first to come out with them} I can promise you 110% that you do not have anything in your collection similar to this. So if you are kind of on the fence about it because you already own so many of these kinds of lippies, you need to not think that. It is not true. This is the most unique piece of Heaven I own. It is not labeled as a 'balm', so the lasting power exceeds that of a balm or balm-stain. It has the opaqueness of a lipstick and the shine of a lipglass, minus any sticky feeling. This does not feel sticky on the lips at all, it feels like a moisturiser, which again, it is not even that.

Have you tried these yet? What is your favorite color or which would you like to try?

Until next time,

New Products!!!!

Hello Beauties!! I hope you are having a fabulous day! I just wanted to come on here and share my happiness with ya’ll. Ok, so over the past couple months I have purchased a crap ton of new makeup, but I must say that the products I ordered this week have become my most anxious to get. I love MAC cosmetics with all my heart. Knowing that they are kind of over-priced {depending on what you are getting I guess} I try to minimize my purchases from them and only go completely kray-kray about once a year. So, anyways, even though I was super happy to get all my new lipsticks and lipglass products, foundation and powder, the order I placed last night has me on my toes ready and anxious for UPS to come tomorrow! They just released a NEW PRODUCT. They jumped on the ‘chubby stick’ bandwagon and introduced the Patentpolish Lip Pencil!! They have 12 colors and it is quite the variety. I got mine in the nudist color called ‘Innocent’.
M·A·C Patentpolish Lip Pencil is your new magic wand for lips, with a single swipe instantly achieving luscious shine. A unique blend of creamy emollients replenishes, keeping lips soft with an ultra-smooth texture that isn’t heavy or sticky. The pencil’s effortless twist-up application keeps things clean and mess-free, with no need to sharpen. Enjoy colour in a dazzling range of 12 new shades that stay bright and true on all skin tones.
1             Patentpolish Lip Pencil ($20.00 U.S. / $24.00 CDN) (New, Limited Edition)
§  Innocent Nude beige
§  Berry Bold Orange-red
§  Fearless Deep blue-pink
§  Go for Girlie Bright yellow-pink
§  Hopelessly Devoted Bright clean fuchsia
§  Kittenish Mauvey pink
§  Patentpink Washed-out lilac
§  Pleasant Rosy pink
§  Revved Up Creamy peach
§  Sincere Mojo Maker??
§  Spontaneous Soft plum with pearl
§  Sultana Dark grape
§  Teen Dream Bright coral orange

They are absolutely stunning and if you are a lip junkie like myself, then you better go get you some!! I also ordered the Prep + Prime lip treatment which will also be here tomorrow. Today I received my Sheen Supreme Lipstick in the color ‘Supremely Confident’ and a tinted lipglass in ‘C-Thru’ just because I need all the Nude lipsticks I can get! It would probably be cheaper to put concealer on my lips but it looks better and fancier {because MAC has the best sleek packaging ever} to carry around a lipstick or gloss. I did order their lip erase but I am not a fan of that at all. The first and hopefully last MAC product I think is a FAIL.
There is one more purchase I am waiting on edge for, almost as much as my lip pencil. I put an order in from Sephora {which is having 5 free samples now instead of 3} yesterday and the order should be here Friday as well. I purchased an atomizer, just because, well, that is pretty self explanatory. BUT for $25 {tis crazy but from every review I heard it is worth every penny} was the Marc Jacobs Beauty Liplock Moisture Balm in the color ‘Makeout’. {I think it only comes in that one color}.

Doesn’t that look fancy?! I cannot wait. It supposedly takes away dry chapped lips. The only downfall to it is when warm weather hits, it melts very easy. I found out the hard way that so does MAC’s Crème D’Nude. That was my first ever MAC purchase and I had it about a day before it turned into a puddle of goop that I could no longer use. So I will be sure to keep this magical piece {I have high hopes} in a safe and cool place!
That is all for now beauties, I am going to be working on a post tonight of some products I have been using and my thoughts on them, so stay tuned for that!! I have been wanting to get it up for quite some time now.
I hope you are having and continue to have, the most amazing day ever.
Until next time,

Tasha xo

When Life Gets In Your Way!

Hey ya'll! <--- I couldn;t resist! I have been watching the lovely Alexa Re' all morning and what can I say?! Anyways, as the title states, life has totally gotten in my way! I miss blogging so much and I almost feel that since starting this new blog, I find excuses to keep putting it on the back burner. I get the feeling of anxiety when I think of how far my last blog came and how many posts I had completed here and all the people I met, then coming to my new blog and starting from day one again just freaks me out. There will be a whole nother day dedicated to why I left my first blog. After a lot of thought and concern I had no choice. But that is besides the point. I am here now, and so are you, so that is all that matters!

I have so many ideas for posts written in my planner, and if I could stay off of YouTube at night I would be able to get a start on things. So, Beauty Guru's, stop making new videos pop up on my feed :)

I just wanted to do a quick post explaining how excited I am and nervous at the same time to be back. I feel that with all the things life throws my way, coming to my blog and seeing all your beautiful comments, switches my days all around! So don;t be shy, come say hello!!

You can find me on Social Media, because that is my life.
For Twitter you can find me here.
For Instagram (I am still new to that) you can find me here.

I hope you all have an amazing day and I will be talking with yous soon!

My Nightly Set-Up

Hello beauties!! I have had a pretty much horrible week and was sick for a couple days so I have been MIA and not motivated to do much of anything. Besides watch some YouTube. I completely let my blog down, missed the 'High Five For Friday' link up and have been drawing a blank as to what I wanted to post. So I had this great idea that I could take a picture for you, of where I sit every night and work on my blog or watch YouTube and do all my online shopping :)

So as you can see it's no fancy place! As it has only been a couple months that I have been a daily internet addict, I have yet to set up a computer stand with a nice comfy chair. I have been researching and trying to find a really nice desk that is friendly priced. My laptop is a couple of months old, I believe it was the second week in February that I bought it. I was planning out my laptop about a week or so before I actually bought one and since the first day I looked, until buying day, I was getting a MacBook Air. Hands down. Nothing was changing my mind. When getting my laptop, price was not an option. I had been using my daughters DELL laptop and needed my own at this point. I figured that spending $1300 would be good because I would be paying for quality. So buying day came, and we were shopping in Wal-Mart. It was then that I decided nah, I am not going to get the Mac, I'll get one from here. Why? Because I am the most impatient person in the world and when I want something, I want it yesterday. So as I said, I know nothing about the tech details of any computer. What I was looking at was the price. The most expensive one must be the best quality. Right? That's what I think anyways. The most expensive on there was $700 and come to find out it was on sale for like $600. BONUS! If you wanted to know it is an HP Envy w/BEATS audio running Windows 8 and I LOVE it!

Hooked up to my laptop are my BEATS headphones. In pink of course! I have to wear my headphones at night because the boyfriend is in the room right next to me listening to YouTube on his computer and he is part deaf {I don't think he knows he is though} and so in order to hear mine, without two computers blasting two different things, I have my headphones. Which I am ok with because it blocks everything else out. I used to have another pair of BEATS {same style} in red that he had bought me for christmas a couple of years ago for my ipod, but after letting my 11 year old son use them a couple times, they have completely vanished forever.

The two books on the left of my laptop are fairly new. I bought them about mid February. They are my best friends and I use them every night. The book on top is called 'Q & A a Day'. If you have never heard of it before it is a 5 year journal. Each day there is a new question for you to answer before you go to bed at night. IT had questions such as 'What are you reading right now? The best part of today? List three foods you ate today.' It is going to be so much fun after the first year! After December 31st, you start the book back over and answer the same questions for another year and so on. I don't know if I am explaining it clear but here is a link and it also shows pictures!
The book underneath that is a personalized agenda. I ordered it from www.personal-planner.com and you customize EVERYTHING on it. I mean everything from the cover, to the back. You have what fonts you want, if you want to include the weather on each day, you can have either blank lines or a to-do list on the bottom of each week, have holidays printed. It is amazing. The only downfall was it took about a month and a half for me to receive but it was well worth it. I don't use mine to plan anything out. My life is not that chaotic and I never plan out my blogs, I just do them as I go. What I do use it for is a daily diary. I have always bought agendas for this purpose. I must have about 15 agendas started over the years. I love to write and i love to read back on previous years. What I was doing that day, what kind of mood I was on, etc. The only problem I do have, which is pretty important, I actually forget {alot} to write in it everyday. So sometimes I have to try to think back to days I have missed os I can fill tjem in. And my memory, well, I have none. So that can be a struggle. But I try real hard.

The NIVEA chapstick. That's kind of a funny story. But so nice and sweet at the same time. Have you ever watched Alexa Re' on YouTube? I love her, she is my favorite person ever. Anyways, she was doing a little whats in my bag tag, and she showed this as her favorite. It is the Nivea with olive oil and lemon. From all my drugstore and walmart trips I had never seen that one. So I went on a mission to find it. I even looked in walmart in the next town over. Nothing. Nowhere. So I went to the Nivea website and contacted them asking them where I could buy it. They sent me a complimentary tube! They also said it was in my local Rite-Aid. I went back there and they even scanned the barcode. Nope. Don't carry it :( And for the record, it smells amazing and feels amazing, as anticipated.

To the right of my laptop by my pepsi {always must have my pepsi. Always with a straw}is something I finally got in the mail today! The Kenra Platinum silkening gloss. I hear major raves about it, so I just HAD to try it! Since I just received it when I got home from work tonight at 10pm I have yet to try it, but I couldn't resist pumping a small amount on my hands to smell it, since the smell was raved about so much. Sweet strawberries. That's all that comes to mind when I smell it. I cannot wait to try it for work tomorrow!!

And I guess that about sums up everything I have with me and around me every single night after work. And even on my days off, I sit the same way, same spot, right after I put the kids to bed. I don't know if you can see it very well, but my purse from Hautelook came in a couple days ago as well. It's a gorgeous Juicy Couture bag that retails for $178. I only paid a total of $75 for it!

That is all I have for now, I am going to look around and see how it is possible for me to put up my foundation routine in a blog post form. Video would be easy, but how do you blog it? I would really love to share my foundation routine I do every single day so hopefully I can figure it out and have that up real soon!

I hope you have an amazing day/night! Until next time,
Tasha - xoxo
